Like all modern Hunter yachts, the Hunter320 is an advanced family cruiser. The main features are the backstay free B&R rig and the Stainless Steel arch on top of which the traveller is mounted. As a result the spacious cockpit is clutter free and can easily accommodate 6 adults. All control lines are led aft, which in combination with the autopilot makes her also very comfortable to sail single-handedly. The helmsman seat can be lowered to make the transom a walk-through swimming platform.
Below decks the interior is very spacious and light and has the feel of a boat several feet longer. Headroom is 6?4?. There are 2 private state rooms and if the saloon table is lowered, sleeping accommodation for up to 7 people can be arranged.. The galley features pressurized hot and cold water,
pressurized seawater, refrigeration and a 2 burner propane stove with oven.
The boat has spent all of its time at the Nepean Sailing Club in Ottawa with the exception of one winter season, when she was taken south as far as The Turks and Caicos. As a result she is well equipped for long term cruising, but at the same time essentially a fresh water boat.
